Striper fishing this morning was consistent but not fabulous. There were fish almost every place that I tried including far downriver in the clearer saltier water. The river above the harbor was running quite brown and dirty from the thunderstorms last night. The fish were still there but moved some from where they have been holding.
The forecast was calling for rain this afternoon but we are having about as nice and sunny an afternoon as you could hope for. My oldest son is graduating from high school next week and the festivities start on Sunday with a cookout at the house, hopefully whatever rain we have in store for us will be brief and end by Sunday morning.
Tomorrow is one of my Running a Successful Maine Guide Business seminars in Augusta. I have only five signed up and have had a couple of folks call and tell me that they cannot make it so the room will be mostly empty. This will be the last one until late fall and I hope to get a good quality recording of the seminar to convert to a downloadable file in the online store. With any luck thing will go without a hitch.
