Fun Boat Trips

The season is off to a great start with a number of fishing trips already someone’s great memory. An interesting change this season is the number of Scenic Maine Coat Boat Trips that clients are reserving for themselves and family members. Sometimes as just the boat trip but frequently in conjunction with a morning of fishing; like Monday this week.

In the morning a learn to fly fish trip and then the rest of the family met us at the boat launch late morning. We all had lunch together on a convenient picnic table on a nearby island and then a tour of the lake. Including getting up close and personal with several loons and a stop at an eagle nest to see an adult tending to the chicks.

I have several of these trips coming up on the salt water that will include passing by the Olsen House made famous in the painting “Christina’s World” and the lighthouse from the movie “Forrest Gump” and always a visit to an eagle nest . As you can see it is possible to customize the trips to the interest of the party. Including the location and time of day, I’m looking forward to several of these trips in the next two weeks and hope that you are taking some time to get outdoors this spring too!
