An interesting idea

As an Orvis endorsed Guide I receive a monthly Pro newsletter. The most recent edition had a link to a video on an interesting way to use my GoPro camera. I have had a GoPro for several years and actually used it for a while but while the video was good the sound was at best lousy, video took lots of time to edit and the camera became something I carried and never used.

The newsletter pointed to a video by Tight Line Productions (who did a video for Libby Camps that Mae the pointer and I appeared in) on how to set up your older GoPro to take still pictures every second and then mount it to your landing net. I spent an evening getting the camera software updated and securing the mounting to my long handled net.

After only one outing I think you will agree that this has potential to produce some interesting shots. I am excited to see pictures of fish caught by clients this summer and exploring the possibilities of this setup.

Stay tuned for more i'm sure.
