Something to celebrate!

As I am working through the year end items that face every small business I came across some of the first Maine Outdoors materials. The date on them was 1986 making the coming year the 30^th anniversary of Maine Outdoors. Quite the milestone!

Things sure were different back then although the business plan was similar to what it is today although focused on providing canoe trips on the Saint George. Those trips are not offered today and most of the canoe trip business is a shadow of that original plan. Hard to imagine that the time has gone by so quickly or how much fun it all has been. Well most of it anyway. We will need to have a big celebration of some sort and that is now on my list of things to plan for the coming year.
