Spectacular Day!
I was scheduled to work in the office today in anticipation of a very busy October and November. The day was nearly perfect though. Little wind, not a cloud (after the fog burned off in the morning) and 
some nice color on the trees.
So I decided take the morning off and get out on the water. Working for yourself has some advantages. As you can see I was not disappointed by the day. Even an eagle soaring overhead while I cast a fly.
The fishing however was not so good, for the first time in a long while I returned without landing even a single fish. Even the small bass that are usually very cooperative would only follow a fly to the boat.
Still a pretty spectacular day even if I did not catch a fish!
