I’ve been fishing the last couple of days but the wildlife watching has been impressive. I know my mind is wandering but some things are hard to miss. Friday we watched as an eagle harassed a pair of loons in the middle of Megunticook Lake. I depend on loons to make noise when an eagle is flying overhead but never understood the alarm. It was clear that the alarm is well founded!
Yesterday was the annual meeting of the Maine Tourism Association. After two years as the Chair of the Board of Directors I was termed out. As a parting gift the Association recognizes the outgoing chair with what else?
We are now past the middle of May and I am enjoying talking and e-mailing with clients every day. It is always a pleasure to arrange a trip with clients that I have known for years and take a minute to tell a few stories. Meeting new clients is always a load of fun, being able to describe what I do, the places that we can go and the fun we can have is always a treat.
