The Samoset received a customer comment card from one of the folks on a package with me way back in June the comment was “The fishing trip with Don was fantastic! Kids caught 20 fish, saw a bald eagle & seals! An amazing morning & a highlight of our trip!” It is great to know when you are getting it all right. So often I can’t tell or don’t know what folks are really thinking about their trip.
Both trips that were scheduled for today cancelled for different reasons one was because the thunderstorm of last evening had felled a tree across their driveway. A good reason not to show I think and the other was because they changed their minds. I guess that I was due for a no show. At least I did not have to drive to the ramp to find out that they were not going to show and I have managed to get a couple of projects moving again so the day was hardly a loss. This summer has been so busy that spare time to work on projects not demanding immediate attention has been at a premium. It is easy to think that it will last but I know that September will be here soon enough and I will have at least a couple of free days each week.
