Snow this morning

It is November after all and winter is just around the corner, so the first snowfall is not unexpected. Still it is sort of sad to think that my fishing season is drawing to a close. Last week’s trip to Megunticook Lake in Camden may be my final bass fishing trip for the season. Water and air temperatures will be good for a little trout fishing in the next few weeks and I am planning to get out on most nice days still it is clearly almost over.

This has been a great season with lots of new memories and things learned. I experimented with video this summer and had some professionally done (check it out), I am looking forward to learning how to do a better job with video over the winter.

So I begin what I call “meeting season” where my role as Executive Director of the Maine Professional Guides Association has me in a variety of meetings including working with the new Maine Legislature for the next several months.
