Autumn is Here

The seasons are changing and we are headed to fall. The signs are all around the cardinal flowers are in full bloom along the river banks, red leaves here and there along the roads and a few flame red maples in the swamps.

The fish have been feeling the same change for a week or so bigger bass are feeding pretty actively in the freshwater and I would say that the stripers have left the Saint George for the year. The little alewives have started the head down the river just in time to feed those hungry bass.

September will soon be here with the perfect weather to get out and enjoy the Maine Outdoors. I hope that you take advantage of it!
