This winter has been something to see!

The most recent blizzard missed us leaving only a few inches of snow. Apparently the snow fell to our east and south. The wind more than made for the lack of snow though moving the snow around and keeping the road crews busy. The temperatures were also something that you would notice, the low this morning was far below zero with the wind making it feel even colder.

There is around four feet of snow on the ground and we have run out of places to pile it here in the yard. Luckily one of my neighbors was stopped by with his tractor and pushed back our snowbanks before the predicted blizzard. The pile on the front lawn is well over eight feet high. I’m guessing it may be around for a while this spring!

Speaking of spring it can’t be too far off, I got a call from the boat dealer and the new Lund Alaskan has been shipped from Minnesota. With all of this snow I would guess that there will be plenty of water when it starts to melt.
