Perfect September Day

I usually lament when the perfect September day arrives and I am not on the water with clients taking advantage of the weather. Yesterday was that day this year and lucky me I was on Megunticook Lake in Camden with a client who really appreciated the day and the fishing.

Almost no wind, bright sun with a few clouds for effect and the nearly perfect temperature. Well almost it; was downright chilly when we started. As is normally the case on the perfect early fall day there were few other boats out, three to be exact taking advantage of the perfect day.

The rest of this week is filled with other clients but the forecast is not calling for a repeat in the near term. I will be back on the water at the end of next week and am already looking forward to a chance to repeat!
