When you read this newsletter I will be on my last fishing trip of the year. A Learn to Fly Fish trip on Megunticook Lake in Camden. Where the amazing drone video in this newsletter was taken back in September. Watch and you can imagine that you are there now! Of course the leaves have turned color and mostly fallen at this point so the scenery is a little different.
October is my month working with the dogs at Libby Camps guiding upland bird hunters. I was fortunate to get pictures of both Blue and Rocky on point where you can (sort of) see the bird they are pointing.
Winter usually arrives here in Maine in early December and we are looking forward to the first snowstorm. My work as the Executive Director of the Maine Professional Guides Association is already off to a quick start with many meetings and events on the calendar.
I am thankful as I am every year for all of you that choose to spend time outdoors with me. It is an honor and a privilege to have that opportunity. I have to confess that I enjoy every minute and am already looking forward to spending more time with you in the coming year.
It is never too early to make a reservation for the coming season!

This year we have had one of the prettiest falls that I can remember. No need to write about it. Look for yourself. One thing is for sure Maine is not hard on the eyes this time of year! More pictures here.

Back in September I had the good fortune of having a friend use his drone to shoot some video of a fly fishing trip on Megunticook Lake in Camden. I have lots of great video but here is a short clip to remind us all of the great season we just and what we have to look forward to in the coming season, Enjoy!

I am just back from spending most of October at Libby Camps in the North Maine Woods always a great time of year where I enjoy great food and time in remote country. The grouse hunting is great fun but there is lots of other wildlife to see.
