One characteristic of being someone who is outside a great deal is that you are always watching the sky. I am usually looking for clues to the weather in the next couple of hours, but in the winter when it is dark more of the day and the night sky the brightest I like to look at the stars. Not as any kind of an expert but I have a few constellations that I can find readily and watch as they trace their way across the night sky.
Snowing here again this morning, not real hard but we already have a couple of inches. The forecast was for less than an inch all day. This is an excellent addition to the holiday scenery.
Click here to see that not only can old guides dance they look pretty good in a green elf suit.
Looks like about 14 inches here. Pretty much all light and fluffy not to mention very prettily stuck to everything. For some reason we did not have enough wind to knock the snow from the trees and limbs. So for a few days we live in a snow covered fantasyland.
