We are having a string of beautiful early spring days this week. Temperatures in the 50’s and cloudless blue skies; of course I am in New England and recognize the realities, it will change and most likely not for the better.
The packages that I have been working on over the winter with the Samoset Resort in Rockport are a reality and will be rolled out next week. It really has been a pleasure to work with them through the planning process and I can’t wait to see what results it brings to Maine Outdoors this summer. Talking with the other guides who may help me fulfill all of the demand has been healthy as well offering a good chance to solidify professional relationships.
Interestingly the guides’ business seminar scheduled for Saturday has also generated a lot of interest in the last 24 hours. I guess that folks really did wait to see the weather forecast for the weekend before signing up. I will be very busy for the next several days preparing for and running the seminar and attending the Sportsman’s show in Augusta as the lobbyist for the Maine Bowhunters Association and to help them in their booth.
