I recieved these pictures and story from Maynard Stanley of Owls Head yesterday. Maynard is an Animal Damage Control agent, has his own outdoor TV production company and produces special effect for events. Howdy this Osprey got caught in the fish screen at Damascotta Mills and was fighting for his life where they dip alewives for smoking, the current was trying to pull him under and that would have wedged him under the screen frame against the bottom. after the rescue he rested for about 30 min. then like magic when no one was watching he took off.

My wife norma took these first 4 pictures and young man there held a stick under the bird while I ran to my truck for my net to rescue osprey.
