June has been interesting to say the least. Stripers are in the Saint George in good numbers with bigger fish than the last few years.
Freshwater fishing has been nothing short of fantastic on all of our local lakes. One client asked me to guide on a river I have not fished for some time (no worries I found stripers in all of the old places). Add to the mix a few home improvement projects that are always a disruption and you have a busy time on this end.
Still the guiding season brings time spent with clients who I have not seen for a year or two but have enjoyed spending time on the water with for many years. In fact next week I have 2 half day canoe trips with a client from my first year in business. Now she wants to share the experience with a new generation of her family. It is indeed gratifying to have such an honor and looking at the calendar not the last time I will see familiar faces this summer.
New folks add to the fun and I enjoy sharing your Maine Outdoors experience. I am looking forward to seeing you all again this summer. Come
write or call to make a reservation or
make one online here.
Best regards,
