August is almost half gone Supermoon and all. I have really enjoyed spending time with repeat clients this summer and catching up with them.
Most I get to see every summer or two some not for a along while like this family that last went on a Maine Outdoors canoe trip eighteen years ago.

Why Licenses?
It came up again yesterday, why do you include licenses in the price of the fishing trip and why do you even bother to fill them out. The second part usually goes "I have been coming to Maine for years and never even seen a game warden".

July and August are always the busiest part of my season, most days have me on the water somewhere. All of that time coming and going or just being on the water gets me to see lots of unusual sights. This afternoon I was fishing along the shore of Megunticook Lake in Camden with clients and there on the shore were two fawns (still with spots) feeding as if we simply did not exist. Last week clients and I saw a deer in the water feeding much as a moose does on a different part of the lake.
