Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start to the summer vacation season and my calendar starts to get full with lots of memories in the making. We also pause collectively to remember all of those who made tremendous sacrifices so that we can all live in this country. The weekend also marks Argy and my wedding anniversary we will have been married 38 years this Saturday. I've been lucky to be able to do work that I love with someone who is still willing to put up with it for such a long time. The Maine Outdoors tagline is Creating Outdoor Memories and I have plenty of great ones made with folks like you over the last thirty years.
Bass fishing is at its early season peak and as you can see in another part of this newsletter just how nice the fish are. I am experimenting with posting video using Facebook Live on the Maine Outdoors Facebook Page. I try to capture a few moments of something interesting in my day. I already captured a pair of loons fishing close to the boat and I am sure eagles will be included in the action this summer. Take a minute and like Maine Outdoors on Facebook to get those short videos included in your feed.
With the summer season officially started it is time to make a reservation for a fishing or canoe trip! Even without that reservation it is time to get out there and make some memories of your own.
Best regards,
Don Kleiner
