It has been an unusual winter so far. Not really cold and certainly not a lot of snow with storms in a steady progression. Most of them have been windy warm and wet. As I write this on Wednesday morning the wind is blowing at a steady 30 miles per hour with gusts over 40 with pouring rain. The rain coming down sideways as you might imagine. I am at my desk although it is tempting to take a trip down to one of the exposed points on the nearby coast to watch the big seas roll in.
Argy and I travelled north to Quebec City over the holidays and had a great time. Hard to believe how close it is to us here in Maine and how very different. If you have not been there, I highly recommend a visit. The sun has begun its seasonal swing south so that we know the spring and summer are coming but until then I am hoping for enough cold to make safe ice conditions for a few ice fishing trips. Time will tell on that front.
I hope that you are staying warm and dry this winter and like me looking forward to getting back on he water in the spring.
Feel free to write or call to make your reservation for the coming season or make one online here to enjoy some time on the water for the coming season!
Best regards,
