I love this time of year because I get to spend some time on each water that I fish in the coming season. While you might think that I am just fishing what I am really doing is checking
This morning the dandelions are in full bloom in the hayfield across the street. The trilliums over behind the dog kennel are also putting on a show. The fishing has finally picked up along with the warmer weather. My season is getting started with a few trips a week to ease me back into the program after my winter off.
Before long it will be six days a week again and I have to say that I am looking forward to it! The calendar is already filling for the usual busy weeks and many have made reservations as far out October. Spending time on the water with folks I have seen many times and a few I have just met.
Before we know it full summer will be here and soon after that the topic of discussion will be cooling temperatures and the leaves changing color. All of this is to say that It is now time to get out there!
