June was very busy and almost all of the trips were fishing with families. We have been on a few 
different local ponds and even down onto the saltwater for mackerel. The wildlife sightings have been a great addition to each trip.
We have seen eagles on every trip, easy when there are a few nests around with young eaglets in them; loons on every trip including one still sitting on her nest yesterday; seals on the saltwater in numbers I have never seen, several jumping clear of the water and putting on a show and many songbirds including a redstart yesterday that flew between two of us standing in the boat. Not to mention osperys, muskrats and of course a few fish.
While the fishing has been great the other things we see are the real treat. Get out and see what you can find!
Union are up feet rather than inches because of the river flow. In these conditions I like to fish the lakes higher up in their watersheds or on small watersheds that seem to suffer fewer effects.
