I know we are forecast to get a snowstorm tomorrow and many to the south of us are getting it today. Still for me the Lund Alaskan headed in for its annual overhaul and tune-up is a sure sign that spring fishing is not far off. Today was one of those perfect winter days with a clear blue sky temperatures in the 20’s and no wind. I took the time to shovel the snow off of the boat, back the sequoia into the snow bank connect the trailer to the boat and drag it out.
Went without a hitch as did the trip to Waldoboro for the maintenance work, in fact the whole setup will be inside before supper tonight. A week or two and I’ll bring it home ready for another season. There you have it a very sure sign that spring is right around the corner after a little more snow falls that is.
