Over last few weeks I have spent time with many families and groups of friends. I help them enjoy the outdoors and experience places and things that they could not on their own. During that time I have had the privilege of seeing five parties made up of three generations.
I love seeing the older generation share what is important and special to them with the up and coming generation all connected by the generation in the middle (I used to be part of that one but now with several parties where I have guided three generations I’m not so sure).
To me this picture captures it all. They were watching a pod of harbor porpoises on the lower Saint George River early one morning under nearly perfect conditions. The fishing was terrible but as you can see the experience was not.
