I was working with a website consultant last week and she pointedly asked me. I don't see a list of things to bring along on my trip. Why is that missing? The answer is simply that as I have told many of you over the years. All you really need is a jacket and a smile!
The basic equipment is always there for you to use be it a fishing rod or canoe paddle. In good repair and well matched to whatever we are doing. Fishing licenses are written out on the boat so that you do not need to spend the time or effort to make that arrangement.
It goes further though I try to have the things that you might want and have forgotten readily available. For years a camera was one of those items. First I supplied disposable film cameras and then made my digital camera available and shared the pictures. Interesting that need has all but disappeared now that everyone has a mobile phone with a camera.
Small things like sunscreen, spare sunglasses and even cleaners to get those fingerprints off of your glasses. All of them become obvious over the years and always make me smile when I can pull an item out of a corner somewhere just when needed most.
So to answer her question really all you need is a jacket and a smile. Everything else is right here!
