Sometimes it all comes together

It has been a very busy summer and I have enjoyed spending time with a variety of folks from around the country (actually the world). I am fortunate because each client brings a new appreciation for where I live and work and how amazing this place is.

Yesterday though it all really came together. A party of women from Wisconsin who had never been on the salt water or even in a boat. We were on a Maine Coast Boat Trip but were hoping to catch a few fish along the way. Everything was new for them; the color of the water, the smell of the salt air and of course the fish. We were fortunate to have each one of them catch a nice striper and see a bunch of new things. Seals, pogies in a huge school, the tide, lobster fishing and the just plain beauty of the Maine coast on a perfect summer morning.

I think that this image tells it all; big smiles with the sheer joy of learning about a new place and seeing it for the first time. Needless to say it all came together nicely! And yes I had a great time.
