Good morning. Like all of you we here in Maine are in the middle of a stay at home order and a mandate that all non essential businesses close. So until at least the end of April no guiding for me! Like most of you I have been spending a lot of time on Zoom in various meetings and an online happy hour or two. Way too much time at the screen for me.
What I wanted to to do is reach out and tell you that we are doing as well as can be expected here in Maine. And hoping that you are too!
Spring is slowly coming the grass is starting to green and the bluebirds are singing in the yard. Spring though is a relative term here in coastal Maine and we have endured a stretch of snow or rain. Temperatures in the high 30s and low 40s and the last few days have added a stiff northerly wind. Weather that makes you want stay at home.
Our stay at home order has an exemption for fishing with a recommendation that we fish close to home and stay a rod length apart. So on the next warm sunny day I’ll uncover the boat and get it set up for a little fishing on my own. I’ll plan to get some video of those early season trips to share.
Until then stay at home; stay well and please let me know if there is anything I can do from a safe distance to help.
Best regards,
