This time of year I like to look back and see what an amazing year it has been. Maine Outdoors continues to grow and become the successful company I envisioned long ago. I was able to spend over one hundred days this season guiding folks who remind me every day how fortunate I am to live and work where I do. That only reinforces my own feeling of amazement at being a successful Maine Guide for over twenty years and some of the places I am fortunate enough to know very well. From the ledges on the edge of the open Atlantic Ocean to the bird cover in remote northern Maine. I get to spend time in places that most people simply do not even know exist.
I have also been fortunate enough to work with clients that appreciate how truly special those places are. Some are amazed at seeing a seal or an eagle and others are impressed with the incredible scenery. That is the thing that Maine Outdoors is actually about making it possible for anyone with the interest to visit one of these amazing places safely and successfully. I think that I have managed to reach that goal and am thankful to have had the opportunity and look forward to another twenty years of doing the same.
