Looks like about 14 inches here. Pretty much all light and fluffy not to mention very prettily stuck to everything. For some reason we did not have enough wind to knock the snow from the trees and limbs. So for a few days we live in a snow covered fantasyland.
December was supposed to be a nice slow stretch for me but that is not turning out to be reality. I represent the Maine Bowhunters Association who are intervening in the process to approve the Plum Creek development plan and I have been asked to attend two days of hearings to be cross examined about my thoughts. I heard this morning that the hearings are already running behind after only a few days so my schedule is up in the air on that front. This morning I received a request to tape a Wildfire TV show on Friday and to top it off the Maine Conservation School is suffering financial problems that are taking up more than a little of my time.
So a nice slow couple of weeks to review the last year and prepare for the coming legislative session are simply not going to happen. Hopefully this nice winter weather will last for a while so I can at least do a little cross country skiing.
