First time in my career I managed to overlap two reservations. Had one family in my calendar for a full day fishing trip and then put another group for a learn to fly fish trip right over top of that in my calendar.

One of best parts of being a guide is showing someone how to do something new and having them be successful at it. Yesterday I fished with a father and his two sons with the goal of having them improve their fly casting and learn about the lake that they own a cottage on. I think that the morning was a huge success on the fly fishing part and we found a bunch of fish while showing them how to fish their lake.

The last couple of weeks have been full with a number of great trips. Fishing mostly but a couple of Scenic Maine Coast Boat trips have been part of the mix. On the most recent trips we have had a couple of remarkable sightings.
