The latest snowstorm was a bit of a disappointment in that we only got about six inches of snow. It did not miss us by much though I heard from some friends further east and heard reports of a couple 
of feet of snow. After the storm though we had a beautiful winter day, not too cold (high of 25) clear blue skies but quite windy.
I know we are forecast to get a snowstorm tomorrow and many to the south of us are getting it today. Still for me the Lund Alaskan headed in for its annual overhaul and tune-up is a sure sign that 
spring fishing is not far off. Today was one of those perfect winter days with a clear blue sky temperatures in the 20’s and no wind.
The winter weather is still here that is for sure with a little snow overnight to freshen up our landscape and a morning low of 14. Still the sun rises a little further north each day. As you can see in the 
picture it is now well north of Spruce Mountain after being south of Pleasant (the hill to the right) on the shortest days in December.
