We are now past the middle of May and I am enjoying talking and e-mailing with clients every day. It is always a pleasure to arrange a trip with clients that I have known for years and take a minute to tell a few stories. Meeting new clients is also a load of fun, being able to describe what I do, the places that we can go and the fun we will have.
After a long delightful spring last year we were expecting more of the same this year. That has proved to not be the case, last Saturday we had a cold wind with rain (snow at times). I registered all of the boats and trailers last week, and had the annual overhauls done last fall so I am sort of read to go, if the weather should turn warmer as the forecast claims it will.
Two weeks ago I wrote that spring was coming. Today we just took a big step backwards. Well over a foot of wet heavy snow fell in Union yesterday. I won't bore you with the details only a picture looking out across the field Friday afternoon.
