Yes it is wet and dreary today but preparation for spring fishing trips is moving ahead. The cover is now off of the 20 foot Lund Alaskan and the annual spring washing started. Fitting out with safety equipment and charging the batteries tomorrow.
I think of fall as a big transition for me I switch from canoe and fishing trips in the mid coast to brook trout fishing and upland bird hunting in the North Maine Woods at Libby Camps.
Argy and I are just back from a few days in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. We rented a cottage on the beach and had a nice visit with warmer weather. I hired a guide to fish in the bay and see how a similar business runs.
