There is a lot to see especially if you take the time out to look. I was mackerel fishing last week and there were small hawks of some sort in the spruce trees on the closest island. I commented that I saw those birds each August and have never taken the time to figure out what they were. That was enough to get me to get out a pair of binoculars from under the console in the boat.
Trips this weekend had me on a variety of locations on the Saint George River, this afternoon when I stopped to review last couple of days I realized that I had been over quite a bit of the watershed.
Summer is in full swing this week with great weather in the forecast, a nearly full calendar and lots of different activities. I will be striper fishing , hiking and a group will learn to fly fish with me one afternoon.
